2011 PSLE Maths Question 5
5. Mr Tan spent ¼ of his money on a pair of shoes. He then spent 2/5 of the remaining money on a bag. After he received $120 from Mrs Tan, the ratio in the amount of money he had in the end to the amount of money he had at first became 5:4. How much money did Mr Tan have at first?
